After a highly successful first two years and excellent results building a robust grants portfolio, the Fund asked Bennett Midland to assess its operations—especially grants and financial management procedures—to improve operational efficiency. Bennett Midland mapped out the Fund’s business practices in detail, reviewed its policies and procedures, interviewed key employees, and examined information systems and associated business processes. Drawing on this analysis, Bennett Midland delivered a comprehensive plan and recommendations to help the Fund strengthen its operations; improve quality, speed, and accuracy in grant management; streamline interactions between the organization’s staff and with its partners; and improve customer service. learn more: Strategy Planning a Complex IT Implementation The Fund for Public Health in New York asked Bennett Midland for help as they contemplated buying and implementing a new financial management information system. Without prior experience managing a large-scale IT project, the Fund leadership team wanted to develop a roadmap for the project that would clearly articulate goals and provide details about how the system would work, in terms understandable to users and technologists alike. Bennett Midland crafted detailed requirements for the new system, describing how it would integrate with and enhance the organization’s business processes. Once the requirements were locked down, we researched appropriate products, drafted detailed technical specifications, and advised the Fund on how to structure and manage this large scale technology procurement. learn more: Information Technology |
